In this chapter you define your life purpose. If you are familiar with the self-help genre of books, tapes or seminars then you will probably be familiar with this exercise. This is a deceptively simple exercise and each time that I do it, I have a different answer, and each time I answer I feel that my response is stronger than the last time. Click to continue »

‘You must take responsibility for everything that happens to you, both good and bad, for it is your life and your decisions and actions that make up your own story.’
Of all the principles in this book… this is the one that I feel that I am closest to mastering. Having started reading the book several times over the past few years I’ve really come to realize that it is me who is in control of things and that it is my responsibility to have the life I want. No one else is going to give me what I want, I must take it for myself. This applies not only to financial goals but also to relationship, health and every goal that I’ll ever dream up for myself. Do you ever get the feeling that your life is spinning out of control and there’s no way to grab the reigns again and set things straight? I’ve been there, and it’s not a good place to be. Weeks and months go by while you almost feel like a prisoner of yourself, sitting on the sidelines while you watch the world buzzing around you while at the same time you seem to be in slow motion. You love change, and as soon as you start to see some success with something you’re onto the next ‘it thing’ because you’ve already proven the current system. Like an endless amount of puzzle boxes, each with its own set of rules and rewards. Once you’re even able to just peak at the contents of the box, seeing the prize is a reward in itself, and for some of us, that’s more than enough to move onto the next puzzle box. Change junkies only ever glimpse success…sure, we will glimpse more possible successes than most other people, but we’ll never be able to tell our own success story.
You’ve read enough books, listened to enough audio tapes and watched enough training videos. Pick a system… any system. They almost all work if you take the massive action that is required.
Before you give up on whatever it is that you’re currently engaged in, take a second and ask yourself if you’re a change junkie. If you are, then you might want to give what you’re working on a second chance and see if you can’t push through the rough times to creating your own success story.

The Internet has always been very fascinating with so many different topics all available at the click of your mouse. But there has always been one topic that completely eluded me for a long time — how do you make any money on the Internet?
We’ve all heard stories of dot com millionaires, but how realistic is it to think that you or I would be the one to develop the next FaceBook or Youtube? Pretty unlikely I imagine. But what if I told you there are thousands, even hundreds of thousands of people just like you and me earning a living online. I’m not just talking about chump change here, some of these people are making hundreds of thousands of dollars each month — it’s really amazing. But before I get ahead of myself and change my name to Rockefeller let me tell you how I got started with my simple little hobby website and how you can do the same yourself. Click to continue »

It’s really easy to get caught up doing many things each and every day that you really do not want to do. This was one of the big reasons that I moved overseas. By leaving the comfort of my childhood reference group and moving somewhere that I did not understand the language I suddenly had far fewer distractions vying for my attention. It was bliss for a time. Four years overseas later I started to feel the need to move somewhere else once again in order to gain control of my life. After looking at many possible relocation options I realized that moving was not the answer, but rather that I was the problem. I was too often like water when I needed to be like stone. Water bends and sways to the forces around it while stone does not easily yield to external forces. A mental shift was needed but as I had tried to change before with little success and a new approach was definitely required. Click to continue »

I’ve been thinking a lot lately about the power of intention and manifestation. The more I thought about this the more it began to see the results of this mysterious force in my own life and in the lives of those around me. Today I’d like to talk about the power of negative manifestation. Often we hold ideas and values true to ourselves that are completely false and negative. The fact that we hold these values and adamantly believe them allows them to actually manifest into reality. This could be as simple as believing that you’re not very good at a certain skill like writing or that your life is unusually unfair and hard. If you believe these things than I have no doubt that you will be a poor writer and that your life will certainly be filled with difficult and unfair events. Click to continue »

I imagine, if you’re anything like me that you’ve had many great ideas over the course of your life but now that it’s time to pull the trigger on something you’re getting what some many refer to as cold feet. I’m in this place right now so you’re not alone. It seems like there’s so many possibilities out there that it’s hard to choose what the best one is. Click to continue »
